We just remodeled our bathroom and used HanStone Quartz in Coral Mist (BT315). It is grey/taupe/black/dark browny purple with little flecks of "diamondy" sparkle. You can google it if you want. It looks amazing with our cupboards that our cherry wood with a dark finish. We used a faux travertine on the floor which is a pretty creamy colour. I don't know how to post a picture of it but if you would like to see just peamail me and I will send it from my Ipod.

I think everyone should use light color in their kitchen because it can be hot place while cooking, so light color will give more relief then dark and it will also suit the dark color furniture.
