  • Whole fish 1 (medium size)
  • Garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • Egg 1
  • Capsicum 1
  • Carrot 1
  • Green shallots 1
  • Corn flour 2 tbsp
  • Plain wheat flour 2 tbsp
  • Ground red chilli 1 tbsp
  • Black pepper ¼ tsp
  • White pepper ¼ tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil as required
  • Sauce:
  • Chilli garlic sauce 2 tbsp
  • Tomato ketchup 2 tbsp
  • Green chillies 4 to 5
  • Coconut milk 1 cup
  • Black pepper ¼ tsp
  • White pepper ¼ tsp
  • Corn flour 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as required

Cooking Directions

  1. Take a medium size fish and using sharp knife, cut slits in fish about 1 cm apart.

  2. Combine salt, black pepper, white pepper, ginger garlic paste, corn flour, plain wheat flour and egg.

  3. Now rub it on the fish.

  4. Heat oil in a pan and fry fish.

  5. Cut thin and long slices of capsicum, carrot and onion,place them in cold water.

  6. Method for Sauce :

  7. Pour oil in pan and fry ginger garlic paste in it.

  8. After it is fried, add coconut milk.

  9. Cook these ingredients, green chillies, tomato ketchup, salt, white pepper, black pepper, chilli garlic sauce and corn flour mixture.

  10. Pour this sauce on the fish.

  11. In the end, pour the vegetables you placed in cold water on the fish and serve it.

  12. To serve, garnish it with a few slices of lemon, green onion and tomato.

  13. Chef's Tip: If you melt frozen fish in a little milk, its smell will vanish and it will taste like a fresh fish.
