  • Refined flour 400 gms
  • Blanched almonds 30 gms
  • Blanched pistachios 30 gms
  • Grated coconut 60 gms
  • Cinnamon 2" sticks
  • Poppy seeds 30 gms
  • Walnuts 60 gms
  • Cashewnuts 60 gms
  • Green cardamoms 5
  • Peppercorn 10
  • Roasted cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Ghee

Cooking Directions

  1. Grind all the nuts.

  2. Grind the poppy seeds, coconut and spices finely.

  3. Heat ghee in a pan and fry two tbsps flour on a low flame.

  4. Add the finely ground nuts, poppy seeds, coconut and spices.

  5. Add salt to taste and fry well.

  6. Add a little milk and knead into a slightly hard dough.

  7. Form the dough into small balls.

  8. Now make dough of the rest of the flour adding water.

  9. Take a little of this dough, flatten out on the palm.

  10. Fill in the stuffing and cover.

  11. Roll out like puris.

  12. Deep fry in medium hot oil till golden brown in colour.
