  • Potatoes ½ kg
  • Yellow food color a pinch
  • Green chilies 4
  • Curry leafs 6
  • Coriander ½ bunch
  • Oil ½ cup
  • Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  • Nigella sativa 1 tsp
  • Fenugreek 1 tsp
  • Fennel seeds 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Corn flour 1 tbsp
  • Black pepper 2 tsp (crushed)
  • Vinegar 4 tbsp

Cooking Directions

  1. Take potatoes and cut into pieces with skin.

  2. Now put them in a bowl with glass of water and cook.

  3. When the potatoes get tender, then mash the potatoes with wooden spoon.

  4. Then add pinch of yellow food color and corn flour in same bowl, mix it and set aside.

  5. Now in another bowl put oil and add mustard seed, nigella sativa, fenugreek seeds, fennel seeds, salt and 6 curry leafs.

  6. When the fragrance of spices is felt, then add boiled potatoes with vinegar and mix it well.

  7. In the end take off the flame and serve it.
