  • Penne 250 gms
  • Tomatoes 5 medium
  • Garlic(crushed) 6 cloves
  • Onions(sliced) 2 medium
  • Red Chillies 1 tsp
  • Origano 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Basil Leaves 5-6

Cooking Directions

  1. Blanch Tomatoes, peel, remove seeds and coarsely chopped.

  2. Cook penne in plenty of salted boiling water, drain, refresh in cold water & set aside.

  3. Heat a non stick pan, add garlic and roast until light brown.

  4. Add onions, roast until transluscent and then add crushed red chillies, Origano & tomatoes.

  5. Cook for about 5 minutes on low heat.Add salt and mix well.

  6. Add penne and roughly torn basil leaves and toss lightly.Serve hot.
