Very tasty, slightly sour, bit spicy achari bhindi is prepared with tomatoes, curry leaves, national achaar gosht masala and garlic paste. Easy to make and good for vegetarian lovers.

Ingredients

  • Lady finger 1/2 kg
  • Tomatoes (chopped) 3
  • Curry leaves 15
  • Garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Oil (for cooking) 3 tbsp
  • National achaar gosht masala (heaped) 3 tbsp
  • Oil to deep fry lady finger

Cooking Directions

  1. Heat oil in a wok, deep fry ladyfinger on medium flame in two batches, drain and keep aside.

  2. Heat oil in another wok, add garlic paste, curry leaves, chopped tomatoes and national achaar gosht masala, fry well till oil separate.

  3. Lastly add fried ladyfinger, cover and simmer for 10 minutes.

  4. Serve with puri.
