Ingredients

  • Beef Undercut 300 gms (cut into 1 1/2 inch cubes)
  • Garlic 2 cloves
  • Ginger Paste 1/4 tsp
  • Red Chilli 1 deseeded and chopped fine
  • Salt to taste
  • Black Pepper to taste
  • Wooster Sauce 2 tbsp
  • Sesame oil 1 tsp
  • Rice Vinegar 1/2 tsp
  • For the peanut sauce
  • Onion finely chopped 1
  • Chopped Peanuts 3 tbsps
  • Oil as required
  • Smooth Peanut Butter 1/4 cup
  • Sweet Chilli Sauce 1 tbsp
  • Coconut Milk 3/4 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Lemon Juice 1

Cooking Directions

  1. Marinate beef in Worcestershire sauce, garlic, ginger, red chilli, salt, pepper, sesame oil and rice vinegar.

  2. And leave in the refridgerator for 1 -2 hours.

  3. Thread the cubes onto the wooden skewers and grill on a preheated grill pan for 15 minutes or until cooked.

  4. To make the sauce.

  5. Heat oil in a pan add the onions and saute till golden and tender then add the peanuts and

  6. Saute for 2 minutes adding the peanut butter, sweet chilli sauce , salt and cook for a further minute or 2.

  7. Reduce the heat and add the coconut milk and combine well.

  8. Remove from heat and add a dash of lemon juice,

  9. Serve the sauce by pouring over the skewers or on a bowl on the side.
