Ingredients

  • Maida 1 cup
  • Powdered sugar 1/ cup
  • Ghee 1/3 cup
  • Vanilla essence 1/2 tsp
  • Baking powder 1/2 tsp
  • Salt a pinch

Cooking Directions

  1. Rub ghee into the maida and baking powder till grainy.

  2. Add sugar and cold water and make a dough.

  3. Roll out into long strips.

  4. Keep covered in a refrigerator for 2-3 hours.

  5. Take out. When at room temperature, cut into circles.

  6. Brush with milk. Bake at 375o F. for 20 minutes till slightly brown.
