This is a great quick dessert to whip up for any afternoon tea, or dinner party, semolina is cooked with milk and flavoured with coconut, saffron and nuts to give a rich tasty sweet dish.

Ingredients

  • Semolina 6 tbsp
  • Milk 1 liter
  • Ghee 3 tbsp
  • Sugar 10 tbsp
  • Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
  • Saffron+luke warm water 1/2 tsp
  • Zarda color
  • Dried Coconut thin slice
  • Chopped pictachio

Cooking Directions

  1. Heat ghee add cardamom powder and samolina fry till golden brown.

  2. Put milk whilst stirring continuously.

  3. Cook a few minutes then add sugar.

  4. When semolina become thicken add coconut slices, saffron and a pinch of zarda color.

  5. Cook more 30-40 minutes.

  6. Garnish with chopped pistachio and serve.
