Dal Roti - It is a type of seasoned flat bread. Soaked ground yellow lentils and spices are kneaded with wheat flour and flat breads are made out if it. Enjoy with yogurt and chutney.

Ingredients

  • Yellow lentils (Moong dal) 125 gm
  • Wheat flour 250 gm
  • Chilli powder 2 tsp
  • All spice 1/2 tsp
  • Salt 10 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1/2 tsp
  • Ghee

Cooking Directions

  1. Soak lentils for 5-6 hours, then grind it finely.

  2. Add all the dry spices to it.

  3. Then add the flour and mix well with a little water to form a stiff dough.

  4. Break off small portions, and make flat breads on the griddle.

  5. Serve with ghee.
