  • Carrots 100 gms
  • Beans 100 gms
  • Shelled peas 100 gms
  • Potatoes 200 gms
  • Pumpkin (lauki) 50 gms
  • Onions 200 gms
  • Tomatoes 200 gms
  • Ginger cut into 2" piece
  • Green chillies 2-3
  • Garlic cloves 2
  • Salt to taste
  • Green coriander leaves
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Pao bhaji masala 3 tsps
  • Butter 30 gms
  • Sugar 1 tsp

Cooking Directions

  1. Cut and boil carrots, beans, potatoes and pumpkin.

  2. Boil peas. When tender strain out the water.

  3. Heat butter and fry the chopped onions till brown, and the ginger, green chillies and garlic.

  4. Put in the chopped tomatoes and salt, turmeric powder and coriander leaves.

  5. Keep stirring till butter leaves the gravy, add the vegetables and pao bhaji masala.

  6. Cook till well blended.

  7. Serve hot with halved, lightly buttered and slightly toasted buns.
