Stock or Yakhni is same thing. Mostly we use stock (Yakhni) in winter season. In this recipe you can learn how to make a basic but wonderful chicken stock (chicken yakhni) that forms the basis of a variety of dishes.

Ingredients

  • Chicken bones 1 kg
  • Water 25 to 30 cups
  • Spring onion (chopped) 1
  • Carrot (chopped) 1
  • Ginger 2 inches piece

Cooking Directions

  1. Cook All together over medium flame for 45 minutes to 1 hour.

  2. Cook till half of the water dries.

  3. Drain, cool and use as required.

  4. You can also freeze this stock for a long time.
