  • Potatoes 1/2 kg (washed and cut into thick slices keep it in water)
  • For Spice (Masala):
  • Fresh coriander leaves 1 bunch
  • Green chilies 6 – 7
  • Mint leaves ½ bunch
  • Black pepper 1 tsp
  • Ginger /garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric ¼ tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Green peas 1 cup
  • Vegetable oil as required

Cooking Directions

  1. Grind all the greens except peas with a little water into a paste.

  2. Now heat a pan and then heat oil in it.

  3. Add all the spice (masala) including the ginger garlic paste and fry for a minute.

  4. Add the potatoes and green peas and stir for a while.

  5. Add a glass of water, cover and allow to cook.

  6. Check after some time if the potatoes are soft and the water has dried.

  7. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve with rice or roti.
