  • Chicken breast chunks 1 kg (skinless, boneless)
  • Soya sauce 2 tbsp
  • Sesame oil 2 tbsp
  • Corn flour 2 tbsp, (dissolved in 2 tbsp water)
  • Hot chili paste 1 oz
  • White vinegar 1 tsp
  • Brown sugar 2 tsp
  • Green onion 4 (chopped)
  • Garlic 1 tbsp (chopped)
  • Peanuts 4 oz (chopped)

Cooking Directions

  1. To make marinade combine 1 tbsp soya sauce, 1 tbsp sesame oil and 1 tbsp corn flour water mixture and mix together.

  2. Place chicken pieces in a bowl and add marinade.

  3. Toss to coat. Cover dish and place in refrigerator for about 30 minutes.

  4. For Sauce: In a small bowl combine 1 tbsp soya sauce, 1 tbsp sesame oil, 1 tbsp corn flour water mixture, chili paste, vinegar and sugar.

  5. Mix together and add green onion, garlic and peanuts.

  6. In a medium pan, heat sauce slowly until aromatic.

  7. Meanwhile, remove chicken from marinade and saute in a large skillet until meat is white and juices run clear.

  8. When sauce is aromatic, add sauteed chicken to it and let simmer together until sauce thickens.
