Ingredients

  • Aloo(peeled & cut into slices) 2-3 medium size
  • Lamb meat(flattened pieces) 150 gms
  • Curd 1/2 cup
  • Watermelon seeds(roasted) 2 tsp
  • Onion(finely sliced) 1 medium size
  • Ginger-garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  • Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  • Garam masala(whole) 1 tsp
  • Veg cooking oil 2-3 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander leaves for garnishing

Cooking Directions

  1. Heat oil in a thick bottomed pan or pressure cooker, add onions, garam masala and fry till golden brown.

  2. Lower the heat and add the ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, chilli powder, salt, paste of wetermelon seeds and curd.

  3. Fry till the oil floats and then add meat pieces, potatoes with 2 cups of water.

  4. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until the meat is tender.

  5. Garnish with fresh corinader and serve with rice.
