  • Oats 8 oz
  • Curd 3/8 pint
  • Green chilies 2
  • Onion 1
  • Ginger 1 1/4 inch piece
  • Salt 1 tsp

Cooking Directions

  1. Chop the onion, chilies and ginger fine.

  2. Put oats in a mixing bowl, add chopped spices, salt and curd and mix into a thick dough.

  3. Heat a tava and grease the surface with a spoonful of ghee.

  4. Take a tablespoonful of the oats mixture and spread on the surface of the tava so as to make a thin pancake.

  5. Add a little more ghee, flip the dosai over and fry on the other side till nicely brown.

  6. Serve hot with curry or pickles.

  1. thanks a lot for such a good recipe..... this recipe is so good in taste,very healthy and easy to make.but i blended the oats to powder and let it stay for some time with curd for marination.
