  • Chicken 1 kg whole
  • Sure 1 green chili sauce 3 tbsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic 1 tbsp
  • Water 1 cup
  • cumin 1 tsp (roasted and crushed)
  • Vinegar 2 tbsp
  • Cashew 15 (ground)
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Oil ¼ cup
  • Garlic 1 tsp (Crushed)
  • Garam masala powder ½ tsp
  • Coriander and mint leaves 2 tbsp (chopped)
  • Plain flour 1 tbsp (optional)

Cooking Directions

  1. Prick the chicken and apply green chili paste, salt, ginger garlic paste all over chicken.

  2. Add one cup water in a large cooking pan and put chicken in it.

  3. Also add crushed cumin and vinegar. Cover and cook until chicken is half tender.

  4. Add ground cashew in yogurt and mix. Keep aside.

  5. Heat oil in a pan and sauté crushed garlic until light golden.

  6. When chicken is half done add, yogurt mixture and garlic along oil.

  7. Cover and cook again until chicken is fully cooked.

  8. At the end sprinkle garam masala powder, dish out whole chicken along garvy in serving bowl; garnish with coriander and mint leaves and serve.

  9. Note: If the gravy in thin then mix plain flour in 2 tbsp water and add in gravy to thicken it.
