  • Lamb Leg 1, 1/4 kg
  • Ginger garlic paste (mixed in half cup of water) 3 tsp
  • White vinegar 4 tsp
  • Lemon juice 3 tsp
  • Special mixture:
  • Button Red chilli (crushed) 1/2 cup
  • Chinese salt 1/2 tsp
  • Roasted cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
  • White pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Dry fenugreek leaves (crushed) 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Yogurt 1/2 cup

Cooking Directions

  1. Make 4 to 5 deep cuts on the lamb leg so that it will absorb the flavors well.

  2. Take a flat pan to soak the lamb leg for marinating.

  3. Fill the pan with water and then add salt, vinegar, ginger garlic paste, lemon juice and mix well.

  4. Soak the lamb leg in that mixture and leave for 1 hour.

  5. Take a bowl and mix all the special mixture ingredients well.

  6. Then take the already marinated lamb leg and pour all the mixture on it and spread well allover, so that the lamb absorbs the flavors fully.

  7. Marinate it for 2 hours.

  8. Then steam the lamb leg in a steamer for an hour.

  9. When lamb leg is fully cooked, take it out, cut into pieces if desired and fry.

  10. When golden brown, serve hot.
