Ingredients

  • Chicken breast 2
  • Oil 1 tbsp
  • Butter 2 tbsp
  • Onion 1 (chopped)
  • Tomatoes 2 (chopped)
  • Green chilies 3 (chopped)
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper 1 tsp (crushed)
  • Peanut butter 3 tbsp
  • Chicken stock 1 ½ glass
  • Rice 300 gm
  • For Marinate:
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Garlic clove 2 (chopped)
  • Thyme 1 tsp
  • Chili powder ½ tsp
  • Turmeric ¼ tsp
  • Lemon juice 1 tbsp

Cooking Directions

  1. Cut chicken breast into strips, marinate with oil, garlic, thyme, chili powder, turmeric and lemon juice.

  2. Bake in a preheated oven on 200 degrees for 3 – 4 minutes.

  3. Now remove from oven and keep aside.

  4. Heat oil and butter in a pan, add onion and fry till onion is tender.

  5. Now add tomatoes, green chilies, salt and black pepper. Mix well.

  6. Now add peanut butter and chicken stock.

  7. Cook till it comes to a boil.

  8. Add in rice, cook till extra water dries, now add roasted chicken.

  9. Cover and steam on low flame for 8 – 10 minutes.

  10. Dish it out and serve hot.
