Ingredients

  • Large brinjals (cut lengthwise) 2
  • Tomatoes (peeled and quartered) 200 gm
  • Pepper 1 tsp
  • Sugar 1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Ghee as required

Cooking Directions

  1. Sprinkle brinjals with salt and leave for 15 minutes to drain.

  2. Then fry till golden brown and remove.

  3. Heat a little ghee, add the tomato slices, salt, pepper and sugar.

  4. Cook till tender and add brinjal slices.

  5. Cook till done. Serve hot.
