Vermicelli Qulfi - Making ice cream at home may be a whole lot of work, but surprisingly enough making qulfi at home isn't all that difficult. You just need to to reduce milk and mix and freeze. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • Vermicelli 1 cup
  • Green cardamom 8 -12
  • Sugar 2, 1/2 cup
  • Milk 1 liter
  • Rice flour 3 tbsp
  • Chopped pistachio 1/2 cup
  • Chopped almonds 25
  • Dried whole milk 250 gram

Cooking Directions

  1. Boil vermicelli and properly blend them in blender with 8 green cardamom and 1 tsp sugar.

  2. In a pan boil milk with green cardamom. Cook the milk till it becomes thick.

  3. When milk becomes thick add blended vermicelli and rest of the sugar and cook.

  4. Dissolve rice flour in little milk. When vermicelli and milk are mixed properly add the dissolved rice flour and cook.

  5. Add pistachio and almonds and keep stirring.

  6. When mixture becomes thick, switch off the flame. Leave to cool.

  7. When gets cool, add dried whole milk and whisk thoroughly.

  8. Now keep in freezer to get set.

  9. Tasty vermicelli Qulfi is ready.
