Ingredients

  • Lamb 1kg (with bones)
  • Onions 150gm (finely sliced)
  • Tomato 300gm (finely chopped)
  • Chili flake 1tsp
  • Chili Powder 1tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1tsp
  • All spice 1tsp
  • Garlic paste 1tbsp
  • Ginger Paste 1tbsp
  • Vegetable Oil 1/2 cup
  • Salt to taste 1 tsp

Cooking Directions

  1. In a large pot heat the oil on high flame.

  2. When it starts sizzling fry onion for five minutes until they turn soft and pale golden in color.

  3. Now add meat, ginger and garlic fry for about five minutes until they turn a golden color too.

  4. Then mix all the spices.

  5. Mix the ingredients well together until the meat color change.

  6. Now add in just enough water to come half way up the sides of the meat, cover and cook on medium flame.

  7. Keep stirring from time to time and add tomato when the curry in the pot dries up.

  8. To stir until the masala thicken and meat tendrize well.

  9. Garnished with all spice, ginger and fresh coriander.

  10. Serve hot with Naan.
