Swiss rolls are very famous among both children and young people it is also very interesting tea time snack iam preparing Swiss rolls with cake and also with bread as u like it is very easy recipe must try it

  • Simple cake (made by any recipe given here at master chef or use your own recipe)/or whole plain bread
  • (You can make plain cake or add some food color or coco powder to create different looks for your Swiss roll.)
  • Fresh cream as required
  • Sugar as per taste
  • Food color or strawberry and chocolate syrup as per taste
  • Pineapple juice (or any juice to your liking you can use simple sugar syrup as well)

Cooking Directions

  1. Take fresh cream (Whipped Cream) and divide into as many colors as u want for your Swiss rolls i generally make three colors

  2. Take bowl of fresh cream add little amount of sugar and start beating with electric beater till it got thick and leave it as it is like white

  3. Add strawberry sauce or red food color to make it pink

  4. Add coco powder or chocolate syrup to make light brown color

  5. Take cake or bread and slice it horizontally the slices should not be very thick or thin but of medium size than roll each slice with rolling pin

  6. Now pour some pineapple juice or sugar syrup on them so they get slightly moisturized

  7. Pour whipped cream on one slice and equally spread it with the help of knife. don’t spread very thick cream because that will cause problem while rolling

  8. Now with gentle hands roll the slice and wrap in butter paper and twist the edges

  9. Refrigerate it for few hours

  10. Cut it in slices before serving
