Ingredients

  • White lentil 250 gm
  • Coriander 1 bunch (chopped)
  • Tomatoes 2
  • Garlic 6 cloves
  • Curry leaf 6
  • Green chilies 10
  • Butter 50 gm
  • Nigella seeds
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Crushed ginger 1 tbsp
  • Mint 2 tbsp (chopped)
  • Oil 2 tbsp

Cooking Directions

  1. Wash lentil and soak it.

  2. Now in a skillet, add 2 glasses of water, green chilies, turmeric, salt, tomatoes, nigella seeds, crushed ginger and sliced garlic cloves.

  3. Cover with the lid and let it cook.

  4. When the lentil get tender, increase the flame to evaporate excess water.

  5. Then add coriander and mint.

  6. Now in another pan, heat butter and oil.

  7. Saute cumin and curry leaves in hot oil.

  8. Pour this oil on Hara Masala Mash Ki Daal and serve.
