Ingredients

  • Beckti (fish) 1/2 kg cut in to fingers
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • White pepper 1/4 tsp
  • Chili powder 1 tsp
  • Egg 1 beaten
  • Flour 1-1/2 tbsp
  • Dry corn flour to coat fish
  • Oil for frying
  • For Honey Sauce:
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Crushed garlic 1 tsp
  • Chili garlic sauce 2 tbsp
  • Sugar 1 tbsp
  • Honey 2 tbsp
  • Water 1 cup
  • Corn flour 1 tsp heaped

Cooking Directions

  1. For Honey Sauce: Fry crushed garlic in hot oil till slightly brown.

  2. Add water, chili garlic sauce, sugar and honey.

  3. When sauce starts boiling than thickens with corn flour paste and serve with finger fish.

  4. For Fish: Marinate fish with salt, white pepper, chili powder, egg, flour and corn flour for 30 minutes.

  5. Roll them in dry corn flour, press them hard between hands and roll to give finger shape.

  6. Deep fry for 7 minutes. Drain out and fry again in hot oil for 5 minutes till golden brown and crisp.
