The Italian egg dish Frittata is very similar to quiche and omelet but its neither quiche or omelet. It can be described as something between the two. Frittata is prepared with sauteed vegetables, herbs, eggs and cheese in a frying pan. The firm frittata is cut in slices and can be served warm or cold with salad.
