  • Chickpeas 1 tin 400 gm
  • Tahini 3 tsp
  • Garlic 2 cloves (finely chopped)
  • Salt to taste
  • Green chili 2 (deseeded and chopped finely)
  • Red chili 1 (deseeded and chopped finely)
  • Lemon juice 1 tsp
  • Olive oil ½ cup
  • Paprika powder to garnish
  • Black olives to garnish

Cooking Directions

  1. Grind the chickpeas along with the garlic, lemon juice, salt, tahini, green chilies, red chili and some water until smooth.

  2. Check to adjust salt and lemon juice.

  3. Remove into a serving platter, pour olive oil on top, garnish with paprika and black olives and serve with crispy pita bread.

  2. red or green chilli is not included in this recipe as it is not spicy.......i like in dubai n this is an arabic dip or sauce....which is commonly available here
