  • Chanay ki daal/gram lentils 250 gm boiled
  • Pumpkin 250 gm
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Tomatoes 2 chopped
  • Onion 1 sliced
  • Coriander leaves 2 tbsp,chopped
  • Green chillies 2 chopped
  • Cumin powder 1-1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1-1/2 tsp
  • Red chilli powder 1-1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • For baghar :
  • Mustard seed 1/2 tsp
  • Fenugreek seed 1/2 tsp
  • Curry leaves 20 leaves

Cooking Directions

  1. Heat oil in a frying pan out all ingredients of baghar and onion,fry until onions turn light brown.

  2. Then add garlic paste and all spices.

  3. Now add some water.

  4. Then add chopped tomatoes cook more.

  5. Now add pumpkins with half cup of water cover let it cook for 15 minutes.

  6. Then add boiled chanay ki daal Stir for 10 minutes.

  7. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and green chillies just before serving.

  8. Serve with boiled rice or paratha or puri
