Ingredients

  • Chicken 1/2 kg
  • Rice soaked 1/2 kg
  • Spinach 1 bunch
  • Green chilies 15-20
  • Onions 3
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Chicken cubes 2
  • Oil 1 cup
  • Black pepper powder 1tsp
  • Garlic ginger paste 1 tbsp
  • Cumin roasted 1tsp
  • All spice powder1 tsp

Cooking Directions

  1. Wash the spinach and grind with green chilies.

  2. Heat oil in a pan and fry the chicken pieces until they turn golden brown in color.

  3. In the same pan fry chopped onions till they turn golden brown in color.

  4. Then add ginger garlic paste.

  5. Add the ground spinach and chilies.

  6. Fry till the oil forms a separate layer on top.

  7. Now add the chicken pieces and soaked rice.

  8. Add yogurt, salt and chicken cube.

  9. When the water has dried add the roasted cumin and black pepper powder.

  10. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
