Ingredients

  • For Chocolate Chip Brownies:
  • Butter 360g
  • Cocoa Powder 3/4 cup
  • Eggs 4
  • Icing sugar 2 cups
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  • Flour 1 cup
  • Chocolate chips 1 cup
  • Hot Fudge Sauce:
  • Cocoa, sifted 1/3 cup
  • Cooking chocolate 50g
  • Sweetened condensed milk 397 g
  • Butter 2 tablespoons
  • Water 2 tablespoons
  • Vanilla essence 1 teaspoon

Cooking Directions

  1. To Make Chocolate Chip Brownies

  2. Grease a 13 by 9 pan with a little butter and butter paper.

  3. Heat butter in a saucepan on low heat. Keep stirring until melts. Remove and cool.

  4. In a bowl, put cocoa powder and stir in butter until smooth.

  5. Add one egg at a time, stirring well after each addition. Once it is well combined, add sugar and vanilla essence and stir until the sugar dissolves in the mixture.

  6. Fold in flour and chocolate chips.

  7. Bake in a preheated oven for 25-30 minutes.

  8. Serve with hot fudge sauce and a scoop of your favourite ice-cream

  9. To make Hot Fudge Sauce:

  10. In a saucepan, add the condensed milk, cocoa powder, chocolate, butter water and vanilla and stir until you form a smooth paste on very low heat.

  11. Remove and whisk the mixture until it has dissolved properly and has a thick texture.

  12. Serve hot on top of freshly baked chocolate chip brownies.
