Ingredients

  • Lamb Mince 500 g
  • Brinjal(skin removed) 1 large
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Onion(sliced) 1 large
  • Ginger paste 1 tsp
  • Garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander seeds 1 tsp
  • Cinnamon 1"
  • Cloves(laung) 3-4
  • Green chillies(sliced) 2
  • Tomatoes(chopped) 2
  • Hot water 1 cup
  • Garam masala powder 1 tsp
  • Green chillies fried

Cooking Directions

  1. Heat the oil in a pan,& saute the onions until they turn light pink, add the ginger & garlic paste, & stir fry the masala for about 5 minutes.

  2. Sprinkle the cumin & coriander seeds, add the cinnamon & cloves, and stir in 2 sliced green chillies.

  3. Add the tomatoes & stir fry the masala till the oil comes to the surface.

  4. Add the mince, & fry till it is well browned.

  5. Add the water, cover, & simmer until the mince is tender.

  6. Mash the brinjal with a fork,& add to the mince, along with the garam masala powder, and simmer for 10 minutes.

  7. Garnish with green & red chillies.
