  • Butter/Oil: 3 tbsp
  • Garlic Cloves (finely chopped) 4-5
  • Japanese Rice (short grain cooked) 4 cups
  • Chicken Stock 1/4 cup
  • Soya Sauce (light) 2 tbsp
  • Dried Nori Seaweed (sliced) 1
  • Scallion (sliced) 1/2 cup

Cooking Directions

  1. Heat the wok on high, add butter/oil until it shimmers and fry garlic until fragrant.

  2. Add rice, stock and toss well.

  3. Add soya sauce mixing vigorously until all the rice grains are coated evenly.

  4. Remove from heat, sprinkle seaweed, scallion and serve hot.
