  • Ridge gourd ½ kg
  • Meat ½ kg (Boiled)
  • Tomatoes 2 - 3
  • Onion 2
  • Green chilies 6
  • Mint leaves 1 bunch
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Oil 1 cup
  • Chicken Cube 1 tsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Red pepper 1 tbsp (crushed)
  • Chaat Masala 1 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Chili powder 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds 2 tsp
  • Lemon juice 4 tbsp

Cooking Directions

  1. Heat oil in pan, fry ginger garlic paste.

  2. Now add boiled meat, chili powder, salt, turmeric, chopped tomatoes, cumin seeds, coriander powder and chopped onion.

  3. Cover and cook over low flame till oil comes on top.

  4. Mix together chaat Masala, crushed red pepper and lemon juice.

  5. Slit each ridge gourd and fill with the above spice mixture.

  6. Now fry it till pale gold.

  7. Place the fried ridge gourd in meat mixture.

  8. Lastly add mint leaves, green chilies, chicken cube and yogurt.

  9. Simmer on low flame for 15 minutes.

  10. Serve hot with naan.
