Pickle is prepared and preserved almost in all home, When there is nothing to eat and no time to cook also, then pickle gets much importance, it is usually eaten with daal chawal and veggies. And also use in some pickled recipes.

  • Lasore 2 kg
  • Mangoes 3 kg
  • Fenugreek seeds 200 gm
  • Red chilies 100 gm
  • Mustard oil 800 gm
  • Tamarind powder as required
  • Salt 500 gm
  • Turmeric powder 100 gm

Cooking Directions

  1. Cut mango into 2 pieces.

  2. Mix salt and turmeric, keep overnight.

  3. Next day mix well and keep again overnight.

  4. Third day take out from salted water and dry them.

  5. Put lasore in same water.

  6. Keep 2 days, in same water then take out seed.

  7. Mix spices and 400 gm oil.

  8. Stuff spices in lasore.

  9. Mix mango with spices, rub it and put in jar.

  10. Mix two days press it.

  11. When it goes down, heat and cool oil and pour on pickle.

  12. Every day mix with spoon, up and down, when it starts giving good smell pickle is ready.
