Ingredients

  • Black chickpeas 1 cup (boiled)
  • Onion 1 cup (finely cut)
  • Green chillies 2 (finely cut)
  • Tomato 1 (cubed)
  • Curry leaves few
  • Green coriander ½ (chopped)
  • Tamarind pulp 100 grams
  • Potatoes 100 grams
  • Ginger, garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder ½ tsp
  • Red chilies powder ½ tsp
  • Red chili flake ½ tsp
  • Coriander ½ tsp (crushed)
  • White cumin ½ tsp crushed
  • Black pepper powder to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil 1 cup

Cooking Directions

  1. Boil potatoes and cube them.

  2. Heat oil in a wok and fry ginger, garlic, add onion and fry till golden.

  3. Add curry leaves, chickpeas, turmeric, crushed and powder red chilies, tamarind pulp, cumin, coriander, salt and black pepper.

  4. Stir and cook for few minutes and remove from flame.

  5. Add green chilies, potatoes, tomatoes and fresh coriander and serve.
