Ingredients

  • Gram/Channa daal 200 gms
  • Spinach (chopped) 1 cup
  • Dill 1/2 bunch
  • Fenugreek leaves 2 bunch
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Water 2 cups
  • Onion (chopped) 1
  • Whole white cumin 1 tsp
  • Oil 1/4 cup
  • For Garnish:
  • Mint 2 tbsp
  • Ginger (chopped) 1 tsp
  • Green chillies (chopped) 2
  • Garam masala 1/2 tsp

Cooking Directions

  1. In a pan add pulse, water, turmeric, garlic paste, salt and red chilli powder cook till half done. 

  2. Now add dill, fenugreek leaves and spinach and cook for 10 more minutes.

  3. Heat oil add cumin and onion cook for a while give baghar.

  4. Sprinkle ginger, mint, garam masala and green chillies and serve.
