  • Large pita 2
  • Whole wheat cooking spray 100%
  • Assorted fresh vegetables ½ cup (broccoli, red sweet pepper strips, mushrooms, carrot)
  • Pizza sauce ¼ cup
  • Mozzarella cheese ¼ cup (shredded)

Cooking Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 205°c.

  2. Place pita bread rounds on a baking sheet.

  3. Bake for 5 minutes.

  4. Meanwhile, coat an unheated small skillet with nonstick cooking spray.

  5. Preheat over medium heat.

  6. Add the vegetables, cook and stir until crisp-tender.

  7. Spread pizza sauce on pita bread rounds, sprinkle with cooked vegetables and cheese.

  8. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until light brown.

  9. Serve warm.
