Ingredients

  • Chicken 1 with skin, cut in to 8 pieces
  • Eggs 4
  • Oil for frying
  • For Marinade:
  • Papaya paste 1 tbsp
  • Vinegar 6 tbsp
  • Red Chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Chinese salt ½ tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • For dry batter:
  • Plain flour ½ cup
  • Rice flour ½ cup
  • Corn flour 1 cup
  • Chicken Powder 2 tbsp
  • White pepper powder 1 tbsp
  • Black pepper powder 1 tsp crushed
  • Chinese salt 1 tsp

Cooking Directions

  1. Apply the ingredients for marinade in the chicken and leave in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes.

  2. Take a plastic jar, put all ingredients for dry batter and mix it well.

  3. Beat eggs properly in a shallow dish or bowl.

  4. One by one, dredge chicken pieces in dry batter then beaten eggs then again coated in dry batter well.

  5. (make sure chicken pieces in batter until completely coated.)

  6. In a large deep pan, heat the oil, then add the chicken pieces and fry until golden brown on both sides and crisp.
