  • Mango pulp 400 gram
  • Oil 1 tbsp
  • Onion seed 1/4 tsp
  • Mustard seeds 1/4 tsp
  • Allspice powder 1/4 tsp
  • Red chili 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Brown sugar 100 gram
  • Vinegar 2 tbsp

Cooking Directions

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add onion seed, mustard seeds, allspice powder and red chili, mix well.

  2. Add mango pulp and cook on low flame for a few minutes.

  3. Add salt, cover it and cook for 5 minutes.

  4. Mash the mango and add sugar and vinegar.

  5. Cook for 7 minutes on low flame.

  6. Then boil for 2 minutes.

  7. When mixture is thick, remove from flame and leave to cool.

  8. Pour the chutney in jar and keep refrigerated.
