Very simple and tasty chicken curry recipe is prepared with green masala and yogurt. Pepare this for today's lunch and serve with chapaties and fresh salad.

  • Chicken pieces ½ kg
  • Turmeric powder 1 tbsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tbsp
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Green cardamoms 3
  • Cardamoms 3
  • Cinnamon 6 sticks
  • Black pepper 1 tsp (crushed)
  • Cloves 3
  • Ginger, garlic paste 4 tbsp
  • Yogurt 3 tbsp (whipped)
  • Onions 3 (finely cut)
  • Green chilies 10
  • Fresh coriander ½ bunch
  • Mint ½ bunch
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil 5 tbsp

Cooking Directions

  1. Blend salt, turmeric, cumin, cardamoms, cinnamon, black pepper, cloves and ginger, garlic in a blender.

  2. Boil chicken pieces in a pot with little water.

  3. When tender, add prepared masala and mix cook till water dries.

  4. Blend fresh coriander, mint and green chilies finely in a blender.

  5. Remove in bowl and mix yogurt with it.

  6. Heat oil in a pot, fry onions and remove on absorbent paper.

  7. Grind onions with little water in a blender.

  8. Add chicken, fry for 5 minutes, add onion paste and yogurt mixture and put on dum.
