Ingredients

  • Beef trotter 1
  • Red chili paste 2 tbsp
  • Cardamom 3
  • Small cardamom 3
  • Cinnamon 2 sticks
  • Cloves 6
  • Coriander powder 4 tbsp
  • Nutmeg mace powder ½ tsp
  • Garam masala powder 1 tbsp
  • Onion 2
  • Ginger 1 inch piece
  • Garlic 4 to 5 cloves
  • Oil or clarified butter ½ cup
  • Salt as required
  • For serving:
  • Green coriander (chopped) as required
  • Green chili (chopped) as required
  • Lemon pieces as required
  • Onion (fried brown) ½ cup

Cooking Directions

  1. First wash and clean thoroughly trotters.

  2. Then put trotter into the pan and add onion into it.

  3. Then cut ginger and garlic and add it into the pan.

  4. Put cardamom, small cardamom, clove, cinnamon stick and 2 jug of water into the pan and cook it on a high flame.

  5. when it boil, lower the flame.

  6. Now cook it till trotter corrodes.

  7. Then separate the stock and trotter and drain the remaining water.

  8. Now take a fry pan for the preparation for masala.

  9. First pour the oil into the pan and heat it.

  10. Put red chili paste nutmeg mace powder, ginger garlic powder, garam masala powder, coriander powder and salt into a mixing bowl and mix it.

  11. Now fry it into pre heated oil for 2 to 3 minutes and pour it into the trotter.

  12. Then cook it till boil.
