Ingredients

  • Oil 1 cup
  • Onion (chopped) 1
  • Clove 5-6
  • Cinnamon 2 pieces
  • Black pepper 5-6
  • Bay leaf (tez patta) 1
  • Cardamom (bari ilaichi) 3-4
  • Ginger-garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Salt according to taste
  • Red pepper powder 1 tbsp
  • Red pepper (crushed) 1 tbsp
  • Tomatoes 3-4
  • Turmeric 1.5 tbsp
  • Potatoes 4
  • Peas 1.5 cup
  • Green chilli 5-6
  • Rice 3 cup

Cooking Directions

  1. Boil the rice.

  2. Take oil in a pan and heat it for a while.

  3. Add onion, cloves, cinnamon and black pepper in above pan.

  4. Also add bay leaf and cardamom in the pan.

  5. Fry them all for a while.

  6. Then add ginger-garlic paste, salt and red pepper powder in it.

  7. Also add crushed red pepper and turmeric in it.

  8. Cook them for a while.

  9. Now add tomatoes, potatoes and peas in it.

  10. Cook them till the vegetables get tender.

  11. Now add green chillies and rice in it.

  12. Mix them well and cover the lid.

  13. Cook for a while and serve it warm.

  14. Garnish with Spring Onion Leaves.
