Nicely seasoned savory meatballs, made of cooked mince. You can also freeze the shaped balls and use them with versatility, as a tea snack, iftar, in pasta gravy, rice or even curry or you can just make a filling sandwich along with cheese.

Ingredients

  • Minced meat 250 gm
  • Onion 200 gm
  • Lime 1
  • Green chillies 3
  • Ginger 1/2" piece
  • Tomatoes 120 gm
  • Gram flour 225 gm
  • Soda bi-carb 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil as needed

Cooking Directions

  1. Boil the mince in enough water to cook it tender but dry.

  2. Grind green chillies and ginger to a fine paste.

  3. Mix together minced meat, lime juice, gram flour, finely chopped tomatoes and onion and add enough water to form a thick paste.

  4. Beat well till smooth. Add soda bi-carb. Leaves for 20 minutes.

  5. Take spoonfuls of the mixture or form small balls and deep fry till golden brown.
