Ingredients

  • Tomato puree 1 cup
  • Salt and pepper as taste
  • Turmeric powder ½ tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder ½ tsp
  • Cumin powder ½ tsp
  • All spice powder ¼ tsp
  • Onion 1 medium size (finely chopped)
  • Ginger and garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Potato small cubes 1 cup
  • Carrot small cubes 1 cup
  • Green pea ½ cup (boiled)
  • Green beans cut ½ cup
  • Green chili 2 (chopped)
  • Green coriander leaves ½ bunch (chopped)
  • Dry fenugreek a pinch
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Butter 1 tbsp
  • Pao as required (bread)

Cooking Directions

  1. Dice all the vegetables, boil the vegetables along with the green peas.

  2. Heat oil in a deep frying pan, add finely chopped onion ginger & garlic paste, sauté for a couple of minutes.

  3. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, all spice powder, tomato puree, cook until the masala is cooked.

  4. Add all the boiled vegetables into the masala along with the salt & pepper.

  5. Cook for 5 minutes then add green chilies & a pinch of dry fenugreek.

  6. Serve with hard bread (pao).
