Rabri kheer is a mouth-watering Pakistani and Indian dessert. Always great to have in all seasons but mostly eat this dessert in weddings or ramadan.

  • Rice 1 cup (ground)
  • Milk 1 kg
  • Sugar 1 cup
  • Cardamom powder ½ tsp
  • Kewra essence 2 to 3 drops
  • Fresh rabri 250 gm
  • Dry fruits as required
  • For Garnishing:
  • Murraba ½ cup (green and red square pieces)
  • Almond and pistachio as required

Cooking Directions

  1. Boil milk and mix sugar in it.

  2. Then add rice and cook for 2 hours on low flame.

  3. When the rice is tender then add cardamom powder and dry fruits and cook for 10 minutes.

  4. When it is a bit thick then take it out from stove.

  5. Add rabri and kewra essence. Mix well.

  6. Garnish with murraba, almonds and pistachios.

  7. Delicious rabri kheer is ready to serve.
