Ingredients

  • Rice ½ kg (soaked)
  • Spring onion 10 sprigs (finely sliced)
  • Butter 50 gm
  • Yellow food color a pinch
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper 1 tsp (crushed)

Cooking Directions

  1. Boil water then add salt, yellow food color and soaked rice.

  2. Cook until rice tender and then drain its water.

  3. Now add butter and black pepper and slightly mix it.

  4. Cover with lid and steam for five minutes.

  5. Garnish with spring onion and serve.
