Ingredients

  • Chicken lever ½ kg
  • Oil ¼ cup
  • Onion 1 (chopped)
  • Cinnamon sticks 2
  • Potatoes 2 (cubed)
  • Salt to taste
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tbsp
  • Cumin powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Chili powder 1 tbsp
  • All spice powder 1 tsp
  • Nutmeg mace powder ½ tsp
  • Water 1 cup
  • Tomatoes 3 (blanched)
  • Green chilies 3 – 4
  • Peas ½ cup (boiled)
  • Coriander leaves 2 tbsp

Cooking Directions

  1. Wash chicken liver very well.

  2. Cut into small pieces.

  3. Heat oil in a pan, add onion and cinnamon sticks.

  4. Fry till onion is brown.

  5. Now add chicken liver and fry for 2 – 3 minutes.

  6. Then add potato cubes, salt, ginger garlic paste, coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric, chili powder, all spice powder, nutmeg mace powder and 1 cup water.

  7. Cover and cook on low flame for 8 – 10 minutes.

  8. Remove lid, add tomatoes, green chilies, boiled peas and coriander leaves.

  9. Fry well on high flame till water dries.

  10. Dish it out and serve hot.
