  • White beans ½ kg
  • Olive oil 1 tbsp
  • Sausages 2
  • Onion ½ (chopped)
  • Garlic cloves 4 (chopped)
  • Rosemary 1 tbsp
  • Red chilli 1 tbsp (crushed)
  • Honey 2 tbsp
  • Tomato paste ¼ cup
  • 15oz can of crushed tomatoes or tomato sauce (1)
  • Chicken stock 2 cups
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh parsley ½ cup (chopped)
  • Balsamic vinegar 2 tbsp

Cooking Directions

  1. Soak the beans over night and boil next day.

  2. In oil sauté the onions and sausages.

  3. Add the garlic cloves, crushed red chillies and rose marry and cook for 1-2 minutes.

  4. Then add the honey and tomato paste.

  5. Stir well to combine.

  6. Add the crushed tomatoes or tomato sauce and chicken stock and bring to simmer.

  7. Add salt and cook for a minute.

  8. Before serving, gently stir in the chopped parsley and balsamic vinegar.

  9. Serve hot.
