  • Sifted flour 1 cup
  • Ice cold water 1 cup
  • Egg yolk 1
  • Soy sauce 2 tbsp
  • Large shrimp, peeled 1 pound
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Cooking Directions

  1. Prepare the batter by mixing together the flour, water, egg yolk and soy sauce.

  2. Heat oil in a wok or deep frying.

  3. Dip shrimps in the batter one by one and fry in the hot oil till lightly browned.
