Typical goan curry can be taken with boiled rice or some traditional drink. It is not only a wonderful appetizer but it also has several health-benefits. It is good for a well balanced digestion, and is a meat free curry recipe!

Ingredients

  • Raw Kokum 6-7
  • Ajwain a pinch
  • Dray red chillies 8-10
  • Black pepper corns 5-6
  • Salt to taste
  • Coconut 1/2
  • Water as required

Cooking Directions

  1. Add water in a blender.

  2. Then add ajwain, red chillies, black pepper corns and cocnut.

  3. Grind them all well.

  4. Take a thin cloth piece and squeeze the above mixture.

  5. Add them in a pot and add kokim as well.

  6. Leave them for half an hour and then stir well.

  7. Serve with boiled rice.
